Lens Choices

wire rim glasseAs technology advances so, too, do eyeglass lenses. In the past, eyeglass lenses were made exclusively of glass. Today, most eyeglasses are made of high-tech plastics. These new lenses are lighter, thinner, and more scratch-resistant than glass lenses, and can be treated with a filter to shield your eyes from damaging ultraviolet light.

Progressive (no-line bifocals)
• Allow your eyes to make a smooth, gradual transition when you change your focus from near to intermediate to far vision

Anti-reflective/scratch coatings
• Reduces glare and reflections that cause eye fatigue so your eyes feel better
• Show off your eyes since there are no distracting reflections
• Scratch-resistant on both sides of the lens to keep your vision clear

High Index Lenses
• Nearly 50% thinner than ordinary plastic lenses
• Sharper vision and better optics with a aspheric option

Polarized Sunglasses
• Provide superior glare reduction, color contrast, and depth perception
• Ideal for bright sun conditions

Photochromic Lenses
